Dr. Nicki Hasenfus
Dentist

  • Dr. Nicki grew up in Winthrop, Maine.
  • Graduated from Winthrop High and then graduated from University of Maine and with a Bachelor of Science in 2009.
  • Attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) as a student in the Faculty of Dentistry program.
  • She graduated in 2014 (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and returned home and practiced at Patenaude Family Dentistry for 2.5 years.

Dr. Steve Desrosiers
Dentist

  • Born and raised in Methuen, Massachusettes
  • Graduated from St. Anselm College, Manchester NH in 1980 with a bachelor degree in biology.
  • Received dental degree from Boston University in 1984
  • Practiced general dentistry in Rangeley, Maine from 1984-1986, as a federal employee in the National Health Service Corps.
  • Has been in private practice in Augusta, Maine since 1986.

Located in Augusta, Maine, Hasenfus Family Dental draws patients from the greater Augusta area including but not limited to Winthrop, Gardiner, Lewiston/Auburn, and Waterville. We take most dental insurance plans. We are in network with Delta Dental – Par Premier.

Julie Norwood - RDH

  • 9 years of experience!
  • Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Bachelors in Science, University College-Bangor. Graduated in 2012 from the University of New England, with a degree in dental hygiene.
  • Julie is a proud married mother of two young boys and resides in Readfield with her family.

Kristy Harmon - RDH

  • 4 years of experience
  • UMA Bangor – Associates, Dental Hygiene
  • Kristy lives with her husband, Jordan and their four Golden Retrievers, Max, Mya, Millie, and Waylon. They are expecting their first child in July 2023.
  • Enjoys skiing at Sugarloaf and camping in Weld.

Kim Blanchard - RDH

  • 30 years experience
  • Husband Mike, 2 children (girls) Hannah is 23 and Elle is 20
  • Lives in Winthrop, Me.

Brynna Avery - RDH

  • 8 Years of experience.
  • Graduate of University College Bangor
  • Married to her husband Nick. They recently had their first son, Vaughn. They have three loving labradors, Griffey, Monte & Maddux.
  • Grew up on Cobbossee lake and still live in the local area. Love to be outside with the dogs, hiking, ice fishing, snowmobiling and enjoying everything Maine has to offer. Recently became a chicken mom and am a bit obsessed.
  • Staying active & healthy with weekly yoga and exercises.

Lisa Gottardi - Dental Assistant

  • 32 years of Experience. Worked in Pediatric Dentistry and at a crown and bridge lab.
  • Graduated Madison high school in 1982. Attended KVTC – 1986 – Graduated receiving a certificate in Dental and Medical Assisting.
  • Has a 29 year old daughter, 10 year old son and a new Granddaughter.
  • 28 Years with Hasenfus Dental. Loves treating patients like family. She looks forward to welcoming new patients young and old!

Jessica Alexander - RDH

  • 12 years of experience. Started here at Hasenfus Dental straight out of college.
  • Graduate of University of New England. Associates in Dental Hygiene. Bachelors in Science.
  • Married over 10 years with 2 young daughters.

Amy Stevens - RDH

  • 20 years of experience.
  • Graduate of University of Maine at Augusta-Bangor
  • Husband and 2 boys
  • She enjoys spending time with family outdoors, hiking, fishing, and going to camp.

Ashley Lewis - Dental Assistant

  • 1 Year of experience
  • Lives in Union, ME. Grew up in the greater Portland area.
  • Married to Zach in 2019, our family consists of us, plus our cats Cedar + Kara.

Sally Roberts - Receptionist

  • Front desk receptionist at Hasenfus Family Dental since 2019. She has 22 years of experience.
  • Raised & educated in Southern Maine
  • Resides in Winthrop with husband, David. They have 5 children and 5 grandchildren and would welcome many more grandbabies in the future!
  • She enjoys entertaining family and friends, doting on her pampered cats, crafting and Bible education work.
